Happy Thanksgiving Al.

I remember the good old days when the only controversy around Thanksgiving was Virginia's claim that they had a feast with the native Americans in 1619 and therefore having the nerve to claim the first Thanksgiving was in Virginia.

But if anyone cares about historical fact, the story of the first Thanksgiving was about a group of people, seeking freedom from religious persecution (ChrisJP Note: the Pilgrims were basically an insufferable religious cult), came to the new world. By the time of the first Thanksgiving, HALF OF THEM HAD DIED ! Yet they gave thanks anyways.

So in the spirit of being thankful even with unfairness all around us, happy Thanksgiving Al.
