Thor Explorations says Douta-West discovery adds gold ounces for upcoming PFS

Thor Explorations Ltd (TSX-V:THX, AIM:THX, OTC:THXPF) CEO Segun Lawson talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about progress at the Douta gold project in Senegal, with a specific focus on the Douta-West licence. Lawson outlined that Thor acquired the licence a year ago and has since been advancing drilling efforts there. He confirmed the company has now made a fresh discovery, which includes oxide, free-flowing, recoverable gold material. “These are wide intersections between 12 and 20 metres wide, with very good grades between 1.3 and just over 2 grams per ton,” Lawson said. He added that the anomaly runs for approximately two kilometres and could be a significant contributor to the overall economics of the project. Lawson noted that the next step is to fully drill the strike length of the discovery zone. This will allow the company to include the newly identified ounces into its mine plan and potentially enhance the preliminary feasibility study (PFS). He also highlighted that the company is not pursuing exploration for academic purposes, but rather with a clear intent to build and deliver value to shareholders. Lawson confirmed that following the completion of the drilling campaign, Thor will provide an updated timeline for the PFS. Sprintex secures A$3.25m to expand global output; reduce debt

Sprintex Ltd (ASX:SIX) managing director and CEO Jay Upton talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s successful A$3.25 million capital raise, drawing strong backing from both existing shareholders and new institutional investors. Upton said approximately A$1.5 million of the funds would go toward debt reduction, with the remaining A$1.75 million allocated to accelerating production and sales of Sprintex’s new range of high-speed electric compressors. These products aim to improve energy efficiency, offering “more than 50% energy savings versus the current benchmark products”. He discussed the company’s strategic manufacturing expansion, highlighting the transition of its Malaysian facility to support electric compressor production—mirroring current operations in Suzhou, China. This move is designed to double manufacturing capacity, navigate global trade sensitivities, and better serve regional preferences. Currently in the Netherlands, Upton also outlined a five-year partnership with Mest Water, a Dutch wastewater treatment firm focused on ammonia reduction in livestock manure—a project supported by the Dutch government. Sprintex will supply compressors for this initiative. BluGlass talks quantum sensing & commercial wins

BluGlass Head of Corporate and Investor Relations Stefanie Winwood talked with Proactive at the AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company’s work in gallium nitride (GaN) laser technology and its growing role in quantum sensing, computing, and defense applications. Winwood explained that gallium nitride is a compound semiconductor that can conduct electrons significantly faster than traditional silicon. BluGlass is one of a few companies globally producing visible lasers using GaN, a technology that is crucial in precision applications such as post-GPS navigation and quantum computing. “BluGlass is leading the market in the precision applications and these precision applications are the ones that are growing more rapidly,” Winwood said. The company works with large clients such as the US Department of Defense and major semiconductor players like General Electric and Coherent. BluGlass has recently secured contracts worth USD 6 million and aims to build long-term, revenue-generating relationships through projects that can lead to multi-decade manufacturing deals. COSOL Sees U.S. market as key growth driver

COSOL Limited Managing Director Scott McGowan talked with Proactive at AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company’s role in driving operational efficiency across asset-intensive industries. COSOL Limited works with organisations in mining, oil and gas, utilities, and public infrastructure to enhance the performance of their physical assets. McGowan explained the company’s core service as unlocking value by helping clients reduce costs through better asset management. “We look at ways that we can save them real dollars to be able to manage that asset more effectively,” he said. The company’s client list includes major names such as Glencore, Rio Tinto, BHP, and several government departments. COSOL provides the systems and processes behind the scenes to manage these organisations’ equipment and facilities, potentially impacting hundreds of millions in operational costs. Even a 2–3% improvement, McGowan said, “makes a significant difference to their bottom line.” COSOL has grown revenue from AUD 30 million to over AUD 110 million since listing. It is now targeting organic growth in the mid-teens and exploring earnings-accretive acquisitions.
