The buying strength is the result of betting on an early Q. These are traders who know that if Q is released early, the pps will spike, regardless of the content of the Q, and they will profit from that spike. If it becomes clearer as time goes on that the Q is not being released early, these very same traders will bail, figuring that the Q will not be so hot if it is not being released early. Based on the activity of the last few months, it is reasonable to assume that the Q can be pretty good and thus, it can be released early, and thus, the buying strength.
