Regarding Dilution. As we all probably know, when they add shares to the OS, it dilutes the value of the previously issued shares.
However, that in & of itself, doesn't necessarily drive the price down.
But as those shares are sold, it will have an effect on the PPS.
With all that said, Hundreds of Million of Shares, or Billions, does not quickly get absorbed into the market. Especially on lower than average volume days.
So by the technical meaning, when dilution has not occurred during a given period, it does not mean that it is not effecting the daily trading.
In Oct. the number of shares added to the OS count, was approx. 487.6M.
In addition on Oct. 28th, 730.5 Million was added. Since this was a Thursday, it only gave them 2 trading days before Nov. to sell those. Which I doubt happened.
So along with the other 642 Million shares issued in Nov., There was somewhere north of 1 Billion shares that needed to be sold in Nov.
Oct. - 487.6 Million + some of the 730.5
Nov. - Somewhere around 1 Billion
Given that information, I do not consider the Dilution, to be slowed down.
It's more like the issuing, got added earlier in the month, possible because of the Holiday???
