I agree with you. In order for legislation to pass it is voted on by the legislature. I don't think you'll see Burnette go to jail anytime soon. He will appeal this because the judge made mistakes in the trial. I wouldn't doubt if there was a retrial. So while everyone waits for this saga to close, Trulieve is expanding and creating money, stacking up in the corner and federal legislation will come sooner rather than later.
