INO Incorrect. Institutional ownership in Inovio (INO) is not growing, it's declining.
In the latest reporting to the SEC, institutions hold 41.6% of the outstanding shares
If you look back to your own post on this board dated August 8, 2021 (post #38550), you cite Inovio Institutional to be 48% of the OS, much higher than you are now reporting now (in the linked post).
Institution's holdings largely involve their Index Funds (whereby their Prospectus mandates they buy the universe of listed stocks, even stinkers as Inovio). The top ten Mutual Fund holdings in Inovio are ALL for their Index Funds.
Other Institutional holders are Inovio's continually busy diluting agents such as Oppenheimer which is the dilution manager of the book runners (retail diluters). Oppenheimer makes millions managing Inovio's dilution. There is a new $300,000,000 Shelf Registration filed this month which will be raining down on existing investor's heads, sooner or later.
Finally, those who lend to Inovio or have some fiduciary relationship will often hold some shares, in recognition of the greater value of what they are raking off Inovio- that means Inovio's shareholders. Inovio has taken approximately one billion dollars from Investors and grantors and has not one single approved drug, vaccine or therapy to show for it in its forty (42) years of fleecing the public.
Inovio's Founder, President, CEO, Director and Chairman & highly Paid Consultant to 2019, Avtar Dhillon, was arrested this past August by a joint task force and charged with multiple counts of stock fraud and obstruction
