Ever loan someone money and then get paid back with a little extra?

Lease cars...... "sell/lease" a 50,000 car, lease ends, you get it back. It's now worth 25,000, and the leasee paid you 40,000.

Selling AMC for a while then buying it back cheaper is the same thing.
