Cardano (ADA) Between Heartbeats

We may have solved a bit of a mystery. In Episode 38 (Why Does Cardano Need COTI), it was obvious that directed acyclic graphs offer tremendous throughput. But, it wasn't obvious how that gets integrated into a blockchain like Cardano. I think Charles may have just given us a big hint.
