Government can't afford to switch to crypto, will go bankrupt in no time. Dollar, which can be printed as much as needed, whenever and for whatever reason is their air, that we all breathe and without that air they can't survive. With that said, crypto, no matter how much better it is in comparison to fiat currency will never be accepted by any government. Unles they have total control over it an be able to live very well and feel comfortable. Reminds me still unfulfilled prophecy from the Bible, the last book in the new testament called Revelation, about the end of times. The mark of the BEAST without which no one would be able to neither buy nor sell. And all those who would receive the mark will not have even slightest amount of freedom to choose whatsoever, that decision is irreversible without any possible remedy. As weird as it may sound we may witness the fulfillment of the prophecy
