re SPLIF: the company changed its name but the ticker will remain as SPLIF until the company submits a ticker change to FINRA. I don't know why, but most changes submitted to FINRA are name change first then ticker change at a later date.

To your question to why SPLIF hasn't traded since the name change there is a temporary FINRA halt on the stock, no specific reasons given.
