Dolly, if you have a 7+ year old vehicle that sat in the sun, the paint actually fades under the clear. In Scottsdale, we could bring in a panel and the could match it, but that was in mid 90s before metallic became popular which fades faster. Had deep scratches in his door and had to paint the entire door. Some colors such as white, black are easy with no metallic.
