IMO. Howe is just adding Sigma Labs’ PrintRite3D integration into the MetalFAB, as another of it's many integrations. "so you think: no needed but why they are mentioned it?"

Again, showing the multiple paths that the printer company is taking, many likely do not include Printrite3D.
