Molunpriavir is for those just getting sick. Statistically, most will be fine and recover on their own without Molunpriavir or much help from hospitals. They are focusing on this group because the drug doesn't have a chance at treating those that will need to be hospitalized and they think that they can corner the market but their logic is flawed. By the time patients seek help, they are usually getting too sick to be helped and are beyond the small window where Molunpriavir may be beneficial.

2. Molunpriavir is mutogenic. This means that it is contraindicated for all women if childbearing age and children.

3. Molunpriavir must be takin with Ritonovir to be effective and Ritonovir has a laundry list of contraindications:

diabetes
high cholesterol
high amount of triglyceride in the blood
a type of joint disorder due to excess uric acid in the blood called gout
hemophilia
a low supply of oxygen rich blood to the heart
cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle
complete heart block
second degree atrioventricular heart block
abnormal heart rhythm
liver problems
high amount of uric acid in the blood
abnormal liver function tests
a mother who is producing milk and breastfeeding
structural disorder of heart
pancreatitis
an abnormal but slight slowing of the heart called first degree atrioventricular block
