This sort of application really should be using Fuel cell not battery - re-charging requirements and ability to handle different routes easily - hills are big drain on battery. Many municipal bus companies have done comparisons and are moving to fuel cell. See Ballards latest PR as evidence.
That being said it is an incredible achievement to electrify a double decker bus with this power.
ZEV seems to have gone quiet on their Fuel cell activity which was with PLUG power (with Amazon Prime as a end user?).
Anyone have any insight on this?
