Stanford and Harvard docs talk about all the things Fauci got wrong (not even talking about gain-of-function research and coverup):

When the pandemic hit, America needed someone to turn to for advice. The media and public naturally looked to Dr. Anthony Fauci—the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an esteemed laboratory immunologist and one of President Donald Trump's chosen COVID advisers. Unfortunately, Dr. Fauci got major epidemiology and public health questions wrong. Reality and scientific studies have now caught up with him.

Oh well, nobody is perfect. Which is why we shouldn't trust everything the "experts" tell us. We need to examine the evidence and think for ourselves. It's too bad so many of those designated to lead us are so mediocre and politically oriented, instead of science, public wellness, and truth oriented.

The worst part of everything is that nobody is allowed to disagree about public policy issues or anything controversial without being canceled. Hopefully we will look back on things and learn from them, but not for a long time since Fauci himself never admits anything, and all those in power want to stay in power so keep doing the same wrong things so they don't look bad. Emperor, clothes, and all that.

In private conversations, most of our scientific colleagues agree with us on these points. While a few have spoken up, why are not more doing so? Well, some tried but failed. Others kept silent when they saw colleagues slandered and smeared in the media or censored by Big Tech. Some are government employees who are barred from contradicting official policy. Many are afraid of losing positions or research grants, aware that Dr. Fauci sits on top of the largest pile of infectious disease research money in the world.

Government, media, big tech, corporations all colluding to "control" thoughts and ideas and squash dissent. It's called totalitarianism, and loss of freedom (especially the basic right to think critically for and express oneself). Instead it's "trust the experts," listen to our "science," and "obey the government," or else.

I'm glad people are finding solutions and some are brave enough to stand up for their ideas and the truth despite the oppressive environment of today. At least we still have a system that rewards those who come up with solutions to problems.

We'll see if there will be any more waves of Covid here in the US. The current one is certainly waning, but there will be small pockets here and there for a while I imagine. Gotta hope no more major mutations are in the works. There will likely be a need for Covid treatments throughout the world for quite some time.

[PS to MM: after the video, am reading one of the Wallis books - fascinating possibilities, and helps explain what some other people believe - truth is stranger than fiction? or some people just believe really strange things]
