The epiphany will occur when Bitcoin prices itself not only in $USD but grams of gold.

The "gold bug" crowd and the "Bitcoin crowd" need to start seeing one another as allies, not enemies, and that each needs the other. The antipathy now extant is just counter-productive, and wastes each other's time that would be better spent in the battle against "funny money".
