I know you remember my predictions of it going to cost hundreds of millions to build out the infrastructure for them. I'm sticking by my prediction there too. The 10's of millions add up, so maybe it is a reality already. Not that anyone took an opposing view.....

When the deliveries start, it will be nice to supplement the coffers with revenue. If the plan is to do it around Thanksgiving, we are nearly there.

One thing is sure, you don't start from scratch when you make the deliveries. You can't use up your entire silkworm population. You maintain a growing population, while increasing the size of the deliveries. How do they incorporate the disease resistance into the population?

Did Ben mean they keep 60% silkworm population to breed, and 40% to make the 1000 lbs of deliverable fiber/fabric? Depending on the blend Kings decided on, we could see several metric tons of fabric made, if they decide on thread with 2 fibers of DS, out of 7... kind of blend. Maybe more DS fibers per thread, maybe less. Things are going to get interesting.
