Very positive news out overnight on October ticket sales being the best since February 2020, Pre-Pandemic. AMC shares are up nicely today on that news and in anticipation of earnings. Earnings estimates range from -.685 to -.36 with the EPS consensus estimate being -.531. The whisper numbers have the loss a bit smaller than the consensus above. This will be watched closely be some interested in AMC, but if the earnings disappoint, the increase in share price from the overnight ticket sales report could evaporate fairly quickly given how overvalued AMC shares already are.
