how to add BNB or ETH to metamask and buy FEG token:

i use a chrome browser on a desktop computer, so these instructions may not apply to mobile apps.

1. create a metamask wallet.

but most people like BNB-based transactions because they are cheaper and faster.

here's how to do that:

2. create a new "binance smart chain" network in your settings tab of the metamask.

2. create a "binance chain" wallet. (important: this is different from a binance "smart" chain wallet).

3. buy some BNB. it's only available at binance or binance.us

4. send it to your "binance chain" wallet.

5. send the BNB from the "binance chain" wallet to "metamask's binance smart chain network" side of your metamask wallet. confusing, right?

then once you've got BNB in your metamask wallet, go to https://fegex.com/ or https://pancakeswap.finance/swap connect your wallet, and swap BNB for FEG.

but first, i like to make sure the custom token (in this case FEG) is already in my metamask wallet before i buy the tokens.

you'll want to use the correct "contract number" to create the custom FEG token in your wallet. it's in the upper right of this page:

but IF you're buying FEG on pancakeswap you'll want that same contract number handy, to paste into the currency window, since FEG is a custom token on their site.
