crash-testing Kandi vehicles

I think the main thing that is holding Kandi back from selling vehicles in the U.S. that are allowed to be driven on highways is meeting U.S. crash-testing requirements. However, see https://www.consumerreports.org/car-safety/some-cars-will-never-be-crash-tested-crash-test-ratings/

"Nearly a half-million passenger cars and SUVs sold each year have not been crash-test rated by the two main organizations that conduct independent assessments: the federal National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which uses a star rating system, and the insurance industry-backed Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which rates vehicles from Poor to Good."

"To be certified for sale, every new model sold in the U.S. must be crash-tested internally to ensure minimum federal safety standards are met. But a publicly available rating isn’t required."

I don't expect to see NHTSA or IIHS crash-test ratings for Kandi vehicles anytime soon due to low sales volume. However, Kandi can do crash-testing internally to ensure minimum federal safety standards are met. I think Kandi has enough capital to crash-test the K32 or a later version of it, and then it might be able to sell an electric pickup truck allowed on highways.
