Your “sour grapes” theory sounds like you still haven't gotten over Algernon ditching the COVID-19 angle but whatever. Further, yeah more "NEWS" is all the stock needs before a reverse split. Here's some rhetorical questions for you. How long do you think the process is for NASDAQ to either approve or disapprove a listing application? How long do you think it would take for Algernon to act on an approval to uplist? Now back to this "NEWS" you're talking about. What timeline do you think that's on? IMO, uplisting and some pie in the sky news to catapult the stock price/market cap are independent of each other. As we somewhat agreed in earlier posts, the only NEWS I can see that would offset the damage from a reverse split would be the announcement of a CASH INFUSED partnership with Big Pharma.

Otherwise, there is absolutely ZERO NEWS that would increase the share price to a level that offsets a reverse split of 1 for 50 or more. Do you realize what we are up against here? That means as it stands IF you held 100,000 shares that gets reduced to 2000 shares. What do you think is a reasonable share price of 2000 to squeeze out a worthwhile profit? A $100 per share would get you $200k versus $2 per share at 100,000 shares. What's more likely a scenario for Algernon Pharmaceuticals? $2 per share or $100 per share? Even psychologically (DMT), what makes more sense? Those who don't have real $$$-kin in the game can ho hum around about the numbers, but I'm not and never have been one of those people. I take this matter very seriously and the sh!t does not pass muster.
