Hi Ayock, the difference between DC and Portland is that while homicides are up in both cities, overall crime other than motor vehicle theft apparently, is down in DC and way up in Portland.

So while mostly white Portland may not be facing armageddon, the social justice movement has definitely left its mark. It hurt more black lives than it's helped, that's for sure. Well done !
