What is the real value of this stock? As a new member of this site, I'm curious why so many of you think that tovc is worth many multiples of its current price (many, many according to the survey). If "deals are imminent" and the "technology is ready," wouldn't this be factored into the current price? It seems to me that the potential vs. risk are already discounted.
Not that I'm complaining about where the price is -- I first bought this in 2002 after seeing an article about tovc licensing the deicing technology from Dartmouth. At the time, it was expected to come to market in 2 years. After doing more research on their other products, I took a small position which I've added to over time (now avg cost of $3.75).
The researcher at Dartmouth is now complaining that nothing is happening and is trying to bring the technology to market via his own company. Having lived through the 2004 hype with the now departed marketing leadership, I'm naturally a little skeptical about what will happen now. Would welcome informed comments.....
