I hear your concern, but I have to point out that in Biden's bill, there are LOTS of things besides the itty bitty thing you are concerned about. If Biden proposed a bill with just that, I feel sure it would pass, but this monster spending orgy that he wants to pass is just not going to fly as it is. Blame republicans if you wish, but the way I see it is that till congress really talks across the isle and does something to get this under control, I see inflation, taxes, and everything else continuing to head further into the Carter years. FYI, back then I had a 70,000 house with an 12% home loan and that was good. We didn't have an extra penny to get anything that was not absolutely required. This hype you hear that this bill will not cost anything is just not possible. It has already cost us plenty and that is without raising taxes.
