B will never replace the vaccine or be utilized in lieu of. Reformulation would be necessary for the prophylactic use which would take time and money and definitely lead to required trials. Safety and efficacy would have to be reviewed for a new formulation such as an aerosol. I am not the one to guesstimate how long it would take to be used on the population but I do think IPIX will reach further for an aerosol or nasal spray as a broad spectrum antiviral would be highly coveted.
