Time Finance CEO on Q3 update: record lending & growth to resilient small businesses

Time Finance PLC (AIM:TIME) CEO Ed Rimmer takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s performance in the third quarter, highlighting a record gross lending book and improved arrears management. Rimmer explained that Time Finance provides funding solutions to small businesses, including invoice finance, asset finance, and secured loans, typically supporting businesses with turnover up to £10 million. He said, “We help businesses grow, but we also help businesses to survive as well.” The company’s lending book reached a record £210 million at the end of February, with arrears falling to 5% from 6% a year earlier. Rimmer noted this progress came despite challenging market conditions and was achieved without compromising credit quality. Margins have also increased, with profit margins now at 40%. This was attributed to tight cost control and improved efficiency, including leveraging technology and streamlining internal processes. Time Finance has not increased its headcount significantly post-COVID, which has helped support margin growth. North Bay Resources identifies potential of major gold deposit at Fran Project

North Bay Resources CEO Jared Lazerson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the discovery of a significant mass tonnage gold deposit at the Fran Gold Project, following an extensive review of prior exploration work. This includes data from diamond drilling campaigns between 2001 and 2018, as well as geochemical, geophysical, and 3D modeling analyses. Key findings reveal that past drilling—totaling over 18,000 meters—intersected large gold-bearing zones, with notable intercepts of up to 149 meters (489 feet) at 0.95 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. The identified deposit spans over 1,000m x 100m x 300m within a known strike length of 1,700m, indicating an exploration potential of 79.5 million tonnes, with an average grade of 0.8 g/t gold, translating to a potential 2 million ounces. Lazerson stated that there is now sufficient data to proceed with a NI 43-101 Compliant Mineral Resource Estimate. Historically, exploration at Fran focused on high-grade vein targets for underground mining, leaving the bulk tonnage potential largely unexplored. However, North Bay's latest review has shifted its strategy, incorporating both high-grade surface material for processing at its Bishop Gold Mill and ongoing evaluation of the mass tonnage gold deposit for future large-scale mining opportunities. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon.
