Well, start with Congress and Treasury saying every chance they get that the GSE's represent a "systemic risk" to taxpayers which is why they're under C-Ship (no one really cares about the truth). Also, the NWS has now been green lighted as long as it includes language that suggests it was re-instated for the good of the taxpayers. Conservator can literally do whatever they like with impunity. Those two reasons are the reason are enough, don't you think?
