Agree with all of your points, dark pools, naked shorting and the political aspect. These are all built in loopholes to allow wiggle room for the market makers and hedge funds to control the markets.

In turn, they make $$ millions in contributions to the politicians which allow it. They all make $$ while retail and the little guy get screwed.

The Courts are supposed to be neutral and above politics. However, Federal Judges are appointed through a political process, so of course politics is always right beneath the surface.
