This is target 64.
For those interested in what a shipwreck looks like after several hundred years of sitting undisturbed in 3500 ft of water, here it is...the rocks are river stones used as ballast to help the ship’s stability, and the ship’s timbers are visible in the background. This particular wreck was covered in about 1-2 ft of sediment, with only a small amount of ballast exposed before we removed the layer of sediment with a jet pump....tomorrow, we inspect a different target.
