There is no way to prove real from synthetic shares when you buy/sell them. There is nothing wrong with buying AMC or GME call options. In fact, I recommend it. I like to buy them (leap) 1 year out. That way they hold up their value longer and don't expire over night. Almost as good as shares with a 50 to 70% discount in cost.
