Yes, the Record Date is Sept 15 (for now).

The ex-date will be set by FINRA. It has to be 1 day AFTER the pay-date as per exchange rules for dividends > 25% of the market cap.

Problem is, we don't know when the pay-date will be. The company said "on or around Sept 28". But that could change, or not.

So there is a chance if you buy now that you will miss out completely on roughly $2.5 billion of assets. But I would say it's only a 10% chance.
