This article makes it seem like B is not working so he is asking that I be administered. Basically saying that if B can be used why not I. At this stage, unfortunately nothing may work but one of the concerns with a company allowing compassionate use of its drug is that there may be negative perceptions of the drug if the patient does not recover.
