That last statement shows some wisdom as a swing trader and is very true. Many technical traders pretty much do not factor this in and almost poo poo it since they are so sure of their ability to pick bottoms and peeks. However, if you have done it a long time you realize if you are just patient, even if you miss a run up once in awhile, you will eventually win if you pick even close to the floor on a swing trade. Of course, that is barring any major overall economic or market drawn out down turns which can occasionally happen as well. GLTY.
