"It probably won't take Finra as long to delist dead tickers now that the SEC has set the restrictions they have for tickers that have proven to be dead with no one willing to become transaprent.

We'll see, day by day, what happens here. Or rather, doesn't happen here."

Yup, all shareholders of all of the roughly 2,000 securities which were sent to the Expert Market are just going to have to wait to see if anything useful happens.

It is no longer possible to sell with a Market order and the minimum allowed price on a limit otder is $0.0001 so a sell price below $0.0001 is not possible with any sell order.

There are really only three possible outcomes which are still viable:

1) the issuing corporation for each security gets their paperwork in order to bring the stock back to Pink/Current

2) those who have access to the Expert Market buy enough shares to run the price up on a stock

3) the stock ticker is delisted and the shareholders sells the CUSIP-labeled shares without a ticker symbol to their broker for a total loss as a worthless stock and they take the tax deduction.

The SEC's claim that this move was to protect shareholders is only protecting me from acquiring profit and because of all of the stocks I hold which are impacted, I expect end up with a considerable tax deduction.
