On September 28, 2021, new amendments of SEC Rule 15c2-11 will go into effect to enhance investor protection and improve issuer transparency. This industry rule affects Over-the-Counter (OTC) traded securities in the Expert, Grey, and Pink "No Information" tiers.

In advance of the SEC's September 28th effective date, affected securities were restricted to liquidating transactions only on all TD Ameritrade platforms. TD Ameritrade extended the date of when these restrictions will be imposed, occurring on or after September 3, 2021. To view a list of affected securities, please refer to the following link:
