Axis Technologies Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AXTG) announced that they are collaborating with Texas Fluorescents (www.texasfluorescents.com to develop and market an energy-efficient and affordable fluorescent fixture targeted to meet the needs of school facilities. Utilizing the Axis ballast technology, these fixtures will have built-in dimming and daylight harvesting capabilities without the added expense of installing an external control system. Most schools spend more on energy utilities annually than on classroom supplies. The installation of more efficient equipment and fixtures may reduce the energy expense of a school facility by an average of 20% annually.

"Most schools are receiving mandates to reduce energy usage, yet they have limited budgets-- the Axis Ballast/Texas Fluorescents combination should have broad appeal in situations like these," said Mark Thorpe, national sales manager to fixture manufacturers for Axis Technologies.

About Texas Fluorescents:

Texas Fluorescent's parent company is Fleco Industries, founded in 1966 by company president Larry Sayah. Texas Fluorescents utilize their capabilities in reflector design and their fully automated, precision manufacturing that allows parts to be produced directly from CAD drawings to aid in developing their new products. This new fixture design by Texas Fluorescents continues their commitment to provide quality energy efficient lighting.
