That is an interesting point. I think we already know what happens if the "namenda blockade" is permanent (which there is really no scientific data to suggest). If it is long lasting then we know what to expect with the first cycle of the drug, which is roughly a 4-5 pt improvement, shown in 2 previous trials. IMO what we currently have is a baseline of expectations on that front. Now if increasing it to 90 days helps in any way, shape, or form then that baseline of expectations increases dramatically. What we don't know is what the second cycle of the drug will do and what will happen during this additional timeframe to the placebo patients. JMHO
