They certainly made it more difficult, but the game is not over.
With the new rules, those who want to invest in/speculate on the custodianship plays face two major challenges:
1. finding sources of information that give early visibility into which tickers are moving towards being pink current and generally tradable
2. finding a broker that allows you to buy at the bottom of a big spread while most retail brokers are in "liquidate positions only" mode for that ticker.
I don't have the solutions to those two issues (yet) but I am convinced that if solved the G2P and STOP-->pink current stocks could offer spectacular returns.
If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
