Perhaps it is just the way I was raised, but I cannot believe ANYONE would be so stupid as to blatantly committ the allegations, in plain view of the world, and think they could get away with it.

Maybe that's it. The way you were raised, I mean. Penny stock scamsters are often as blatant as it's possible to be. I could cite dozens of examples.
