To put this very simply... the business is not even close to being the same. The last time the RS happened and a change in the symbol was when they were in the 'hip hop' business. As has been pointed out many times, Labarre has not had a successful track record in the businesses that this company has been engaged in.
BUT, this is not the same business nor business model. The B2 Fight series business has only been around for a few years. Labarre is not in control any longer. That was made sure by the new players (CEO,etc.). Labarre will profit from any success, but he is calling none of the shots. Some like to point out that at one time he made a bad decision and was held accountable, but that does not mean that is who he is, it just means that that is what he did once and paid the price. I would hate to be held to a standard of one of my not so good moments in history for all of time.
As I said several times before, the early investors in this might not be the ones that make the most money because there could be a RS coming in the future if they do not turn a profit in the next 24 months or so. But, I do not see a symbol change again. They have too much invested in the B2 brand.
The business is not the same as before, Labarre is not running things, Bell is, and they are a growing business that has a real chance of making it something. Time will tell.
What really needs to happen is an open discussion on the financial statements of where the losses are coming from and are they going to be dwindling over time. As I look at the financials ( and I am not an expert), a lot of the expenses that caused the major losses are 'one time' and they are not to be expected on every quarterly report.
Up to now there has been not interest in detailed analysis of this, just stating of obvious facts.
The business is not the same as before and can not be compared to past history.
