I think this is PLUG's strategy post 2024/2025. to sell green hydrogen as an industrial gas to whoever wants it.

until then they are making for internal use (or their customers use).

It could be 2030 before we manufacture enough green hydrogen to provide all our customers in the USA their fuel as well.

There are at least 3 different models for who owns and runs the plants and the electricity source

what seems different here is that PLUG will install and own the solar farm as well as hydrogen plant. all others we don't have any ownership of the electricty source

The Texas facility we are buying electricity from a wind farm (owned by APEX) who part own the hydrogen plant (JV)
NY State we buy electricity from Niagara falls but own and run the facility ourselves.
Pennsylvania we set up on the land owned by the electric company and use their power from the hydroelectric company
Georgia we are taking electricity generated from methane (I think) into our own owned plant
Tennessee makes grey hydrogen currently on PLUG owned facilities

hopefully the symposium will sort this out and set a strategy for the future as to the ideal relationship.
