This morning I thought I would jus flip through a few hi-lited passages in Psalms : The Psalms have a calming effect, even to those who question their faith:

118: 24: This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it

118: 5 & 6: I called upon the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side, I will not fear.

86:6&7 : Give ear, O Lord to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.

My last for today----for reasons which I will not cover this morning, but a verse I carry daily in my memory and trust in----

Psalm 23: 4----"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me."-------
