I can't say exactly why anyone buys or sells; but I suppose that they wanted to buy it for whatever reason and they had to buy at the MM's ask. Don't forget shortly before that it had gone from .004 to .008 and then dropped back to .003 the day of the R/S announcemnet when many were spooked; maybe there was no reason to sell that day and maybe the company will do well from here and needed to do what they did. IMO.
