I will drink to that but I deal with real life that is, not the one we would like to have.
A woman was caught in a flood that swept her and her two children into the stream. She held them both tight kicking with her legs in a desperate battle to reach the shore or something, anything she could grasp to keep their heads above water but it was a fight she could not win. She had to choose to let go of one child in an attempt to save herself and the other child. She choose and survived but not without deep sorrow.

We all make choices in life as best we can and we live with those choices.

To bring all the people in the world that are in desperate situations to the United States would easily triple the population, stress the food supply, medicines, jobs, movement, housing, power, services to the point of exhaustion and self preservation would rise to an animalistic level you could not imagine.
