More and better efficiency Fuel Cell cars will be built every year here on out, so their advantages should outshine the Pure EVs, where the batteries will be from 500-750 lbs., which will be more expensive as well! Then, because of their complexity and supposed better efficiency, the new Cobalt, or whatever other kind of Battery, will also raise the price tag! Then, Lithium Batteries are still too dangerous to be accepted wholeheartedly by the Public, especially with the women, who are extremely safety conscious as it is? Most have kids to worry about, so reliability is also a serious concern!
And since the Fuel Cell system is simpler, there will be fewer failures, and the cost will be somewhat lower? I am saving for a Fuel Cell car right now! Then, one of my other Co's (brchf) would compliment FC Cars to make them even safer! Ford has been testing the Human-like abilities of the REVOLUTIONARY "COMPUTER CHIP" that LEARNS on its own, CONTINUES to SELF-LEARN until solutions are found, then make DECISIONS that could improve every Technical aspect of Cars & other Machines!
The future is bright all the way around, but nothing is absolutely certain in this highly competitive economy we have? Fuel Cell cars are now being produced in greater numbers every year, so Tim Young may be in the right place at a time we cannot yet predict? Our solitary Solar and Water Hydrogen producing system is the state of the art, and will eventually replace all the Hydrogen Refineries that now produce Hydrogen gas!
In the Penny Field, we are all invested in the future, though we may forget that from time to time, but we are slowly inching our way toward commercialization! It has gone a long way in the past 9 years or so, so pay little attention to the minor setbacks or delays, we will get there at a time when everyone is confident of the results! IMO.......GLTA
