We don't know anything about the deal. We only know what we've been told which is basically nothing. Yeah they could have screwed over Ben, or they could have had a plan in place to utilize BABL with Fourth Wave and it didn't work out. I find it hard to believe Ben didn't know about the LOI with FWAV. I think there's a lot we don't know and Ben isn't gonna make it seem like anything is his fault at all. He doesn't want people disappointed in him.
