You know how these issues usually work out…after years of litigation (Vicarious will have the money to drag it out) they will have to pay royalties or make a payment IF it ever comes to that…ISRG will likely sue other companies for patent infringement, companies that may not have the financial wear with all to weather the fight. In any event it won’t stop a company from going to market…The FDA wants to expedite the approval of Vicarious platform and their breakthrough device designation will give them GUARANTEED CMS reimbursement for a minimum of 4 years IMMEDIATELY upon approval. This is a huge selling point for them for obvious reasons.
