What's the paradox? Some companies may accurately be described as disruptive. Ask 'brick and mortar' Borders about Amazon; ask Alta Vista about Google.

I looked at the holdings of each of the 5 funds and opted for the fund that includes all five.

One could persuasively argue that thematic ETFs disrupted the mutual find industry, though they've had thematic sector funds for years.
