Thank you so much and yes you are exactly right, I thought a bit along those lines, then , Now don't get me wrong I love Paul's and his writings, but he was & is difficult to read and understand, Maybe he was a bit of a chauvinist. (I had to look up the spelling on that word--LOL), I do understand his rules for women in the church, but, but, but.....The Interpreter's said something along the lines of ignored it or totally rejected it....here this is a person's take on it, if I may, a person's opinion....but I am looking and thank you so much for your input, meant a lot to me. As I go through chap 15 I imagine I will come across many things to rack the ole brain.....
This doesn't have anything to do with the subject at hand, but back years ago, shortly after I started read the Scriptures I told my dad that I just can not read Paul, I just don't understand anything in there....Dad told me, Yep, he can be very hard to understand and just smiled at me, maybe even a little giggle in there....Then later someone turned on a light and I understood Paul like an old friend writing me a letter......Since then I have told folks of this and told them when reading Paul's Epistles just read them as if he is writing you a letter, make it a personal letter to you. Don't know if that is good advice, but worked for me......
