I’m announcing today that I am no longer the CEO at Hypur.
I’m excited about the new and intriguing opportunities that are in front of me. After building teams, companies and developing businesses…it’s time to give back to the business community that has afforded me so much opportunity. Today, I’m officially launching my consulting initiative.
I have had the superlative experience in business to understand what makes a company work. I have also had the unique opportunity to see what makes a company fail. It takes people, money and ideas all flowing together to achieve and unlock the true potential of a business. The DNA and soul of a business starts with its people and organically grows exponentially from there.
We can have great ideas, but without great people, it will never achieve its true potential.
How do we access and manage a capital market strategy?
With whom do we speak and why?
Why are we, as a company, not achieving our full potential?
Do we have the right people in the right places?
Is our board, if active, helping or hurting the company’s growth?
Are the people around me working with me or for me?
What is my leadership style and is it working?
Do I communicate well?
What is my exit strategy?
These are just a few of the questions young and mature businesses must ask themselves.
As a CEO for my entire adult life, I’d like to think I bring a perspective that is contrarian to normal group think.
Having learned from my previous experiences, I’d like to help others unlock their potential.
In our professional and personal lives, most of us, spend the bulk of our time trying to reach a level of monetary success and happiness. On this highway to success, it’s easy to forget about those who are less fortunate. We can’t always take…at some point, we must give back!
